PLEASE NOTE:

  • Contact Jessica BEFORE you purchase this option, to discuss the feasibility of the artist being published on Wikipedia.

  • As Wikipedia is an independent, democratic platform, it is impossible to guarantee the publication of a page. In the unlikely chance the artists page is not uploaded to Wikipedia, and is cancelled by site admin, Jessica will refund you 50% of the total fee, enabling you to keep the content created and upload it at a later time when the artist is deemed ‘notable’ enough to warrant a page on Wikipedia.

  • In addition, once the content is live, it is not owned by the artist, but is available to the wider public for editing and contributions, as per the structure of Wikipedia. Jessica contains no control over how the content is changed or edited in the future, and it is the responsibility of the artist or their management to check the page periodically and contact Wikipedia if they have concerns.

WIKIPEDIA GUIDELINES:

  1. Wikipedia articles are about notable topics. Not every person/thing that exists is notable enough for mention on Wikipedia. Writing about a topic that fails to meet the notability criteria is a wasted effort.

  2. If a topic is notable enough for inclusion, then the subject of the article will have no right of ownership or control over its content. You don't own any content on Wikipedia, even content you create. Articles can be edited by anyone at anytime, and the content can change substantially over time. Clear-cut vandalism and libellous edits can be undone immediately, but otherwise consensus is Wikipedia's fundamental editoral model.

  3. The neutral point of view policy will ensure that both positive and negative information about a topic can be included, provided it is reliably sourced and presented in a plain, factual tone with proper WP:BALANCE. This may result in a much different article than what a client had hoped for (see WP:LUC and WP:PROUD).
