Sydney duo Porsches has been making waves ever since they released their debut track back in January. Consisting of Jesse Sewell and Carl Fox, the duo is the culmination of two guys experimenting with beats on their laptops, and, though this is the first time we're covering them on the site, their second single here is indicating that we may seem repeat coverage of them. By using simple beats to build into a dance melody, Porsches make sure to sweep listeners up into an evocative experience of leisure and lust.
A baseline ushers us into the intensity of the track, and synth beats and light vocals make a mesmerizing and memorable single overall. Porsches are currently touring with Tkay Maidza across Australia until the end of next month. “Karate” drops formally September 18.
